I don't think one can qualify being a hot dish at my age! As far as the ricer...I can see needing this kitchen tool, but, I must confess, I am not a fan of gnocchi. I have never tried making it, because I don't like it. I have only eaten it in restaurants and perhaps, it wasn't good.
