Same for me! Only I was 11 and my father, brother, cat Waldo and I just pulled up in a giant moving van to our new home on Washington's Olympic Peninsula. I didn't know what to do or how to begin my new life as this awkward New York City tween. Boys? Makeup? Clothes? AAAAK! We did have a big apple tree in the yard and I did what seemed to make the most sense at the time. I made a pie. Hey! Same for me!
